Animation Trial

Okay, this is not working out as I would have liked. I think I'm going to be forced to make the outer layer of skin. This just doesn't seem to be working.

Animation Trial Idea

Here is a trial idea for the toad animation. It's getting there.

Model Is Done

The model is finally done. Now on to rigging and animating. Updates to come!

Face is Funky

Okay, almost done but the face is not what I was intending to have. Gonna tweak it some more, and then I'll be ready to animate!

Newest Chimera: Surinam Toad

I have finally decided on my next chimera. I chose to use the Surinam Toad.

For more information on this toad, click on this link:

I have chosen this animal primarily because of it's unique reproductive habits. This creature literally gives birth through the mother's back. I am interested in the idea of carrying children and parenthood. Humans care for their children until they are ready to care for themselves. The Surinam Toad is similar in that they literally carry their children and provide nourishment for them through the skin until the offspring are developed into functioning toads from tadpoles. The child is completely dependent on the parent, and in a way acts like a leech. I think this will be a fascinating project to pursue.
